United Airlines sought to align its workforce with the company's core values of safety, caring, dependability, and efficiency, while also adhering to FAA regulations. The traditional training methods, relying on word-of-mouth information and SOP manuals, had resulted in inconsistencies, decreased morale, and subpar customer satisfaction.
In response, United Airlines embarked on a mission to create a scalable, accessible, and engaging training solution for its entire PetSafe® network, addressing these challenges head-on.
The Solution
Miller Creative spearheaded a transformation in compliance training by crafting six immersive eLearning courses that encapsulate the very essence of PetSafe® success. These courses are a treasure trove of best practices, SOP insights, and corporate expectations, offering PetSafe® employees a comprehensive guide to safely accepting and boarding pets onto aircraft.
In a bold move to make compliance training engaging and enjoyable, Miller Creative introduced a playful theme throughout the six courses, expertly balancing the weighty subject matter of compliance and SOP. To enhance the learning experience, realistic images and 3D rendering were seamlessly integrated, allowing learners to interact with lifelike pet crates and products, thereby bridging the gap between theory and hands-on experience.

The six eLearning courses were designed to create a fun, playful theme to balance the topic of compliance and standard operating procedure. For some of the material, the client wanted the learner to be able to interact with realistic images. Using 3D rendering and animation, Miller created realistic pet crates and products that the PetSafe® employee would interact with on the job.
The Results
The introduction of interactive PetSafe® eLearning solutions ushered in a new era of consistency, setting clear expectations and procedures for all PetSafe® employees within the United network. These courses were readily accessible through the company's Learning Management System (LMS), reducing the time and effort required for employee onboarding.
The custom illustrations and 3D models proved to be a resounding success among learners, enabling them to visualize their workspaces and arrive fully prepared for success from day one. The result? A more efficient and confident PetSafe® team.
